Hi, I’m Selene Alford. I’m a strategic communications consultant with more than 15 years’ experience helping organisations tell their stories with clarity and impact. Over the years I’ve worked both in-house and in agencies, at the heart of global communications at AerCap and GECAS, to advising clients like SMBC Aviation Capital, McCann FitzGerald, FBD, Goldman Sachs, Google, and Salesforce. I’ve partnered with leaders across aviation, financial services, and corporate affairs to shape messages that resonate, build trust, and inspire action.

I’m deeply committed to the aviation industry and its future. Since 2020, I’ve served on the Steering Committee of PropelHer, shaping the organisation’s narrative and strategic direction, supporting its mission to inspire, motivate, and empower women in aircraft leasing to connect, develop their skills, and advance their careers. I’ve also led communications for ALI’s Global Aviation Sustainability Day and worked on industry advocacy initiatives, including the launch of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Manufacturing in Ireland report, giving me a deep understanding of the aviation sector and the opportunities it faces as it works toward a more sustainable future.
